This application is intended for Boca Systems Thermal ticket printer users to test printer functions.
An Android based tablet can perform functional printer tests via bi-directional Bluetooth communication.
Tests can be performed to print test tickets, custom marketing tickets and tickets, including an image.
Images can be derived from monochrome BMP files.
This application also has the capability to convert color PDF and JPG images into monochrome BMP and then print them.
This test application also has the ability to send text, including FGL commands to the printer.
Printer status is also returned to indicate successful print via a Ticket ACK or failure for reasons which include "Out of Stock" or "Jammed".
Other test procedures exercise the printer as to printer path (for multi-path printers), DPI resolution, orientation and stock size.
The application will scan for Bluetooth devices and then upon selection will connect to Boca Systems Bluetooth printers.
